What are my Dining Plan Options?
All Freshmen and Sophomore students residing in Midrise and Marian Halls are required to participate in the Carte Blanche Plan Plus $25 Thrifty Cash. All residents housed as sophomores are required to participate, at a minimum, in the Apartment 15 Meals Plus $150 Thrifty Cash Plan. Other dining plans (15, 30, 60, 120 meals) are also available to students, both residents and commuters.
What are the Dining Hall hours of operation?

Which company manages the Marist Dining Program?

What is Thrifty Cash?
Thrifty Cash is the debit portion of your dining plan and can be used in any dining facility on campus.
May I add on to my Thrifty Cash balance?
Yes. You may add to your balance at any time if you are on a dining plan. One of the many advantages of Thrifty Cash is that all purchases are tax free.
Does my Thrifty Cash carry over from semester to semester?
Yes. Your Thrifty Cash does carry over from semester to semester provided you remain on a meal plan. Your Thrifty Cash does not carry over from year to year.
Does my Dining Plan carry over from semester to semester?
No. Your dining plan does not carry over from semester to semester. A student enrolled
in a semester dining plan which offers a fixed number of meals along with Thrifty Cash should consider how they will use their plan options during the course of the semester.
What is the Grab-N-Go/Guest Meal Option?
Grab-N-Go provides students who are on a meal plan with opportunities to take out lunch or dinner from the Main Dining Hall Monday-Friday. Students on the Carte Blanche Meal Plan receive ten opportunities per semester. These opportunities may also be used to accommodate a guest on the weekends. All other meal plans may Grab-N-Go and accommodate guest with the use of available meal swipes.
May I use my Dining Plan for friends? Yes, there are a few options. Preferred pricing is offered to the guests of students on any meal plan with their valid Marist ID. Those on the 120 Meals Plus $500 Thrifty, 60 Meals Plus $300 Thrifty, 30 Meals Plus $200, and the Apartment 15 Plus $150 Thrifty meal plans may use meal swipes for guests provided they have meals available.
Are you able to accommodate my special dietary needs?
Yes. We are able to accommodate virtually any special dietary need, from vegan to diabetic. We have a nutritionist available for counseling by appointment and provide nutritional information
in-house and on our Web site.
How do I dine if I can not make it to the Dining Hall during regular operating hours?
You can make prior arrangements with the manager on duty for a box meal that you can pick up before or after the dining period. You can also use the New Grab-N-Go which gives you ten opportunities to take food with you. Or use your Thrifty Cash to purchase a meal in any of the retail locations on campus.
May I change my dining plan during the semester?
Yes. You may change your dining plan up until the second Friday of each semester. After that time you must remain on your plan until the following semester.
